About us

The easy orchestra started life in 1998 when three young guys met while studying music at strathclyde university. United by a shared love of easy listening as well as an appreciation for pop and rock music, the band developed their own sound by taking songs both modern and old and mashing them up into a groovy easy listening vibe.

Over the years the boys have played for countless weddings/events, a plethora of pubs and for a few years were even the house band on BBC Radio Scotland’s flagship breakfast show - Macaulay & Co.

The band has had various line up changes over the years but has never lost sight of the mission – keep it cool, keep it live, keep it fun.
